These Curious Thoughts: Composers Sean Dunlop and Jim Radford have been very influenced by Sam Robert’s music since Love at the End of World. Their unique indie rock style is sure to fit in with this opportunity. Musically, this song takes the listener somewhere. It starts in a dark place examining ones mental state trying to navigate through this difficult modern age. The tones are very heavy yet reflective. This song reminds us that we are all in this together trying make things work and that nothing is permanent. Dunlop has seen Sam Roberts Band twice at the Fillmore in Detroit and thinks this would be just an absolute creative opportunity for both bands. Based out of Orillia, ON, Dunlop does all of the music recording and mixing in his home studio and the two release the music under their own label Viaduct Records. Radford based out of the UK writes all the lyrics and emails them to Dunlop. Dunlop has never had an opportunity to record in a real studio or with a producer. This could take his music to the next level. Also, logistics are easy and nothing has to be paid for in regards to travel. Please consider this band for this opportunity. Thank you.
